Features

During development, Roope Tamminen, revealed some details about the game and its episodes.[1]

  • The hub level is set at a seemingly abandoned amusement park that four children have entered.
  • The first is a classic type of level, focusing on a family and taking place at a "high-end" lakeside cabin.
  • The second level take place in a hotel with a "Lakeview convention" going on.
  • The third level, inspired by episodes of The Twilight Zone, takes place in a movie studio and focuses on four different playable characters played by the same actor.
  • The fourth and final level takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where the lakes have dried up, and goes "a bit crazy just like VI", focusing more on guns and action.
  • With the completion of each episode, bonus episodes can also be played.

Episode 1

Lvc2

On their way to their holiday house, a family drives past a dead dog that lays on the side of the road, covered in flies. As the family car drives away, the flies abandon the roadkill and follow the family instead. At their holiday home, the family discovers that they are not alone, as Granny and Sockhead emerge from their hiding spots on the property to murder the parents and throw their kids into the lake as a sacrifice to their gods. On the other side of the lake where a strange Shark Man lurks beneath the surface, Scarecrow waits for the sheet to be hoisted on the flagpole before he crosses. Within the cultists' cabin, four of the witches are performing a ritual at their shrine, preparing to cross the lake so they can claim their desired vessel for their own purposes. Only by killing all these enemies can the family find peace at the altar.

Episode 2: Hotel Lakeview

Hotelexterior

At a Lakeview Cabin convention that takes place in Hotel Lakeview, eight of the actors show up but are forced to contend with more than what they bargained for, having to survive murderous bikers as well as three killers disguised as cosplayers who specifically want them dead. The actors find themselves searching for a way out of the hotel while trying to survive. The actors can escape the hotel by finding three golden necklaces which serve as keys to the red door that they have to go through in order to leave the hotel. These necklaces can either be taken from the three disguised killers after they are dead or taken from the penthouse, although this causes a giant green ghost to rampage through the hotel that can only be vanquished by shooting it in the balls with a candlestick that is used to drive away the other ghosts that come with the madness of the hotel.

Episode 3: The Studio

Ep3ending

While watching old movies narrated by Walt, the Jock's actor is suddenly forced to relive his past as the four characters he portrayed: a farmer, a dog owner, a yuppie, and a scientist, as well as monsters that need to be dealt with - a giant chicken, radioactive dog monster, killer robot and the Blob, respectively. With each of the "movies" completed, the Jock's actor returns to his wall of photos and evidence and decides to burn it down while a grinning creature watches on. However, should the Jock's actor retrieve the fragments of the Blood Sword and use the Sword to escape, the actor arrives at Hotel Lakeview where someone decapitates him and steals the sword.
